Tajh Boyd never really put himself in the race because he did alot of maturing after his junior year and decided to focus more on his academics and community work. Otherwise, he probably would have won it.

After alot of prayer and thoughful discussions with his professional peers, family, and pastor, Dabo turned down the Texas job to stay at his new home in Clemson.
He was down in Alabama recruiting when he got the call, he hopped up to Tuscaloosa and since he is real friendly with the Alabama staff, they let him use the jet to hop over to Austin for the interview. The TigerDroppings people went nuts when a guy posted the flight path, they actually thought Texas wanted Saban! Lol!
