Most overrated person in CFB. For a guy that calls himself "Mr. College Football," he brings nothing to the table except generic, obvious analysis.

That said, McElroy can bring some good points but his delivery is way too forced. Can't believe someone hasn't told him to throttle back a notch.

Greg may turn out to be okay. He has a good understanding of the game. He just needs to become more fluid and conversational. He provides decent content and analysis.

You can tell when he gets a chubby over Bama or Saban though...

This is legit criticism I can agree with. I bet he will have worked out most of the kinks by year 2.

McElrube's favorite phrase: "Well, when I was at Alabama.........."
He manages to fit that in to every mf-ing conversation. Why don't they just set fire to him and lower him into a septic tank.....

I cringe a little when he picks Bama to win a game because I know it's got to be hard for him to be completely impartial, but I don't think most people are picking Bama to lose more than one or two.

I have noticed that when the topic isn't specifically about Bama he has steered clear from picking Bama players and position groupings as "the best" at their positions even when everyone else picks a Bama player to talk about. I honestly think he's trying too hard not to look biased.

I hope so. While he's forced and over-the-top, he's not some attention troll like some other douchebags who analyze CFB like Brando, Danny Kannell, or Finebaum. He tries to give honest analysis instead of simply going for what will generate hits or retweets.

He played at Bama under Nick Saban. I would think that gives him some insight into Bama's program and is relevant to today's game.

I don't have any issue with his commentary. He's just such a goob. Needs to take it down a notch.

He is and doing well for the most part. People just need to give him time. Bama fans should expect some criticism and skepticism. The man played for Bama and won plenty of games. His name is connected to being a big rival. It will get better I feel and he will be more accepted as time passes.

I think we can all agree that this network needs some spice. Some flair. Some zazz.

This network needs the Steven Garcia and Matt Jones Variety Hour.

I would watch the shite outta that.
