In the eyes of Georgia law what NM did is the same thing as a speeding ticket.

He is being punished beyond what the NCAA, Auburn Athletics requires.

He has paid his fine (basically a ticket).
Does Saban punish for this? I think not.

That's totally up to the officer's discretion the law changed in Georgia 2009, so technically any trace amount of a controlled substance in your system is criminal if you are driving a car, bicycle, horse.

It's a shitty deal you think they would publish it more than they do.

Not quite this will go on his criminal record as a misdemeanor.

Not supporting the law but honestly I've never heard of someone getting a ticket vs going to jail in Georgia
