This is gonna make it tough on you. I switched to engineering strictly because there isn't much out there that doesn't fit this description until you finish grad school. If you're really interested in being outside, I would look at wildlife and fisheries or the forestry service. The pay will absolutely suck but it could give you some direction for grad school.

It looks like I will be going directly into grad school.
I have researched some pretty seemingly cool jobs. Most of which would put me in Alaska, require me to have a gun, etc. the Texas A&M job board seems to be the best, but most of which require experience in the field. How am I supposed to get experience when all of the jobs require experience to get hired to begin with? Perhaps an internship?
