You know, usually I feel like I have a better grasp with what should happen. Richt's and the team's continuity (2 4 year and a 2.5 year starter at QB) will do that. Hell, last year I had my CU buddy text me that UGA was gonna win like 42-21 (hardcore negatiger). I said no sir, you haven't seen this defense and I texted him 38-35. Csb but that was one the cool thing that happened that weekend. However, this year I have no damn clue. Yea, we return a good bit but just so much change at QB and defensive scheme.

I usually have an idea but really it's hard. My inner-negadawg is pulsating. What I see is what I feel like usually happens when we have one unit hyped: the exact opposite. I think Clemson's turnover on offense and our improved front 7 will create a defensive stalemate. I think Stoudt has a very good arm but the turnover at RB and WR coupled with a good pass rush will stimy Morris' offense even with our perpetually infantile secondary.

But I also think our offense will have trouble getting into gear. I think Clemson's pass rush will also wreak havoc and obviously Venables will want to key in on the run game. Our OL has rarely come out of the gate hot and I expect this year to be the same. I think Hutson comes out a tad rattled and both teams bog down in what amounts to an old-style game with plenty of frickin punts and FGs. Trench warfare. And this is where I think UGA wins: On Marshall Morgan's leg.

All that said there will be mental lapses on both sides. Gurley will break a long run and Stoudt will get a long TD on the young secondary. I think the first half is like 13-7 and UGA pulls it our 27-20.
