This LSU freshman class may be the best in school history, and the word out of camp is this bunch is even better than expected.

Which got me to thinking, the Bama and A&M classes were ranked right there with LSU's by the recruiting services. Is there the same kind of optimism coming from camp at those 2 schools? Because if those classes are anything like LSU's, there is some serious talent coming into an already stacked SEC West.

Optimism, dude we are delusional remember. And now you are trespassing on our cloud.

Seriously, each year I am more amazed at the size and talent compared to even one year prior. It's getting riduculous - in a good way.

If by "right there with" you mean "above" then yes.

One of the reasons Bama was off a bit last year was the 2010 class. They were ranked mid-pack Top 10, and didn't come close to living up to that. May have been the only year since 2007 that Bama's recruiting class wasn't #1.

Bama's class is another in about a 5 - 6 year span so basically adding to the talent there...I can't speak on aTm

I'd say defensively Bama had a much better haul than they have in a few years and much better than LSU's and other than OL LSU brought in a better offensive class

As good as LSU's skill positions were in this past class, Bama added ridiculous pass rush and DL talent in this past class

That is how I see the difference

About as useful as "everyone got bigger, stronger, and faster in the offseason strength and condition program..."

Not just LSU, Bama and A&M but also Ole Miss.
Their recruiting has really picked up as well.

SECW is NFCSouth Jr.
