Pass this already but don't attach a criminal record instead let the public vote with social their perspective and pocketbook.

It pays to be a city govt watcher, just for entertainment from things like this. They've been discussing it for well over a month now, and this is the third meeting that it has been discussed at length.

If you're still up, check the #fairfayetteville hashtag. It really has gone national. People all over the country are watching our city council meeting and live tweeting it.

The old man was spot on. The other cities are smoking Fayetteville in the business friendly department and he isn't lying!
85% of these complaints will get thrown out anyway. Let it pass and lets move onto putting some real business friendly councilmen together.

Absolutely. I'm a businessman myself and while I don't own my own company right now, if/when I do it probably won't be based in Fayetteville.
I don't want this to pass for a multitude of reasons. One of which, and some dude already mentioned it but got no answer, so it'll be ok for Jim to shower in the womens locker room at FAC because they claim to be trans. Yeah no thanks

OPAL, THE TRANSGENDER RABBIT MASCOT.
We just reached peak Fayetteville.

A redshirt artist just told businesses to leave if they don't like it. These people are idiots.
Why can't redshirts operate their businesses as they see fit like bi-sexual bathrooms, etc. And the rest of us can operate as we see fit. You don't like, don't do business there.

News flash, the businesses already left. When the college bubble bursts, faytown will be in a world of hurt.

What a load of bullshite. Fayetteville tax revenues are higher than they've ever been, and there are more businesses operating in the city than ever before.

Fayetteville is first and foremost a college town. The largest employer (by far) is the University of Arkansas. Sure, if this "college bubble" bursts, it will negatively impact the college town. Thanks for the newsflash.

Damn, if only there was massive growth over the last 10 years to correlate these statements? Oh shite THERE WAS.

You made the claim that "businesses have already left". That's just stupid. Name one.
Aren't you the one who also claims Fayetteville has no good restaurants? You so cray...

Fayetteville is struggling so hard, that's why Whole Foods broke ground on their new Fayetteville store last week, Dickson rents are sky high with almost no vacancies, and population is up 7000 people over the past four years.
That's why they're building $200-300k zero-lot homes on the southside
We're hurting so bad. The gay stuff will make it so much worse....

Orly? You need to travel more.

Cost of living? Of course an apartment on Dickson won't cost as much as one in San Francisco.
