He was being touted as a difference-maker in Chokelahoma country. They are certainly lamenting the loss.

Well I'm sure it will be a loss to some point, but a team isnt ranked in the top 5 because of a freshman running back.

I think he's referring to the fact that the B10 is such a weak conference this year the only tough game they have is msu and that was a pick em anyhow and their ooc is a joke as well

Didn't they lose Braxton for several games last year but still was one game, one play short of playing for the championship?

Yes, but that QB has graduated. I was just listening to Herbie on SVP. He said he has been to practices this year and the back-up is no Braxton Miller. They have a weak schedule, but Herbie said they are a 10-2/9-3 team without Braxton.

So you're talking about week 2's poll? You reckon an 0-1 team will be in the T4?

If Arky beats Auburn, Auburn will not be in the top 25 in week two. After week one, Auburn will still be a top 6 team and Arky will still be unranked. You can bet bert's body weight in money on that.

Yeah, but I think it more about Urban's system than the QB playing it. His system made Guiton look good.

Braxton Miller out. AU Miracle #1 for this season complete.

With our schedule, it's hard to imagine we don't lose at least one or two games. We do and we will be out of the top 10 for good as we don't have any string of easily winnable games in the later half of the season to vault up with and the teams in front of us have much easier schedules.

Statistics say you probably don't want to start the season ranked in the top 4.

Not saying you are definitely wrong, but I would like to see those statistics.

If you are saying that the champion more often comes from 5-100+ than from 1-4, then I would imagine you are correct just based on sheer numbers in favor of the 5-100+ grouping. But if you have a choice of being ranked 1-4 as opposed to any other group of four numbers, give me 1-4 any day. A lot less to worry about in terms of what other teams do.
