Yes but he is not expected to stay in this class so it likely will not matter.

One of the Florida schools stealing him or are we moving in a different direction?

Committed without talking to the coaches about it when he didn't really have a committable offer. I think the coaches decided instead of telling him no right then, they would accept the commitment and see how this class turns out before really deciding on him.

To add to this as things stand now we are likely taking 1 RB in the 2016 and in the end that will only be a guy the staff feels is elite.

High ankle sprain for Nate Craig last night. He will still try to make the AU game today.

Quotes from 5 of AU's top 2016 targets. LINK

-4* QB Brandon Mcllwain
quote:

This was my first Auburn game. The atmosphere was amazing. It was completely sold out. All the fans were extremely into it. Being near the student section, I really got to see how into they all were. It was so loud. It was just an amazing visit. I was able to talk to Coach (Gus) Malzahn and Coach (Rhett) Lashlee again. I liked learning about all the history and traditions the program has.

My high school bases our offense off of Auburn so the hurry-up, no-huddle is obviously something I'm into. Coach Lashlee already sees me being a leader in that offense and being able to run it. He always tells me that he can see me playing in it and so can I. It's an offense that I can see myself having a lot of success with.

They looked great on Saturday. Nick Marshall was able to throw for a bunch of yards and also run for a good amount which is something I like to see. It showed me how versatile the offense can be and how explosive they are. They can make a big play every down.

To me my top six (Auburn, Duke, Florida, Penn State, South Carolina, Virgina Tech) are all pretty even, but Auburn is standing out near the top right now. The visit was such a good experience an just reassured me that this is a program that I want to continue to look out and keep my recruiting going with.

-4* DT Antwuan Jackson
quote:

I loved the atmosphere the whole time I arrived at Auburn. I love the players and most defiantly the coaches.

They played great as a defense for the entire four quarters, and I wasn't surprised that they only allowed 7 points on LSU. They keep getting better and playing high level ball.

Saturday's visit was great. It always is where I am there. Auburn defiantly is a top school for me. I can see my self in orange and blue. The atmosphere was the best I've seen so far out of my visits.

-4* CB John Broussard
quote:

The experience was way different than anything I've seen before. The cheering, the hype, the energy, the crowd is the best I've seen anywhere else. It was so live. They lived up to the expectations.

The Auburn game day atmosphere is a lot of fun. Everyone around is just having a good time. I always have a really good time when I'm there and that's why I keep coming back.

I was just trying to see if the defense could shut them down and they did. I watched the corners - Mincy and Reed - and they played tough. I'm always looking to see how teams use their guys, and I really like the schemes Auburn uses.

-4* CB Joejuan Williams
quote:

It was as hyped as it always is. It was louder than the Arkansas game, but the atmosphere is always so good at Auburn.

I just really like Auburn a lot. I always have and every time I leave I'm just waiting to go back to the next home game. It is definitely up there for me at the top. I don't have a certain list, but they are up there. For sure. Just the fan base and the relationships I have with all the coaches - Coach Lashlee, Coach (Melvin) Smith, Coach Malzahn and I even have a good one with Coach (Dameyune) Craig. It's a great college town. Everything is based around football, but it's more of like a family. I believe it would be an awesome school to go to.

The defense plays at such a high level. They hit so hard. The offense is high octane. The team is so balanced on both sides. That makes for championship bound team. If I go to Auburn I will be playing corner and that's my favorite position. I can play anywhere in the secondary, but I really liked that they offered me there.

The fans are just so crazy. I've never seen fans so passionate before. They never leave until a good 15 minutes after the game. I can't believe they stayed cheering the entire game - it was a blowout and they were still all there. That's something that stands out big time to me. You play at a higher level when you have an awesome support system in the stands.

-3* DT David Marshall
quote:

I really liked it. It was a huge game and the atmosphere was awesome. The Auburn game day experience is amazing.

What stuck out to me the most was the Tiger Walk. I could see myself walking through that one day."

The defense is already so good, but when I get there it would be unstoppable. Auburn is still my leader. Everything about it just stands out right now.

I am going to troll LSU about that QB out of Shreveport. Any real chance we get him before I go in?

Intel per AUC suggests there is. They already have a 5* QB committed for that class and info suggest both 5* QBs will not go to the same school.
