FWIW the thread has been quite entertaining... CNB with the slightest of troll bait and its turned into quite the thread. Well done. I honestly do hope next year when yall come to College Station you at least stop by for a good 2 minutes of an actual midnight yell to understand that what was shown on the SECN is an embarrassment to the real deal.

Sure, the thread was fun ... until it turned into the racist bigotry bullshite.

And do you aggies honestly not understand why it could have been so much better ... so much more friendly and enjoyable, had y'all only not chosen to do this on our Statehouse grounds?

When y'all went to Clemson, did y'all drive down here and do it on the Statehouse grounds? Did y'all even have the balls to try to do it on the steps of Tillman Tower?

When you went to Baton Rouge ... you didn't do it on their fricking statehouse grounds. Why not?

Y'all have really ruined a good opportunity here. You really have.

If I were y'all, I'd be worried about the ones not speaking out in public ... the ones keeping quiet right now. There is a shite ton of anger about this.

The South Carolina Chapter of Former Aggies got approval for this. While I realize that we are probably the most arrogant citizen in the US (speaking of Texans) we do show respect and hospitality. If they would have told them that the statehouse would not be okay to hold the rally we would have found another location.

We were granted permission to hold our Midnight Yell here. Don't treat us like LSU or Bama fans and think we are going to be pissing and shitting all over your statehouse. Us Texans are a proud bunch but we don't cross those kinds of lines (every group has their retards). I think this will go just fine and neither fanbase will be inconvienced and the statehouse will be standing Saturday morning.

If there is a huge protest of us being there I am sure we will simply move it elsewhere. Keep in mind there will be children attending so try to at least stay classy enough to not put them in harms way if some of your more "offended" fans do decide to get rowdy.

This is a family thing and I assure you if you go take a look at this tradition, you will see how blown out of proportion everyone is making it.

TL:DR version: The South Carolina Alum Chapter was given permission by the proper authorities to conduct our Midnight Yell at this location. If they don't have a problem with it, then why do so many others? Not like we are having a gay orgy and jazzing all over your steps and statues... (we do that in less well-lit areas of town)

I hear people casually drop the N word in normal conversation on a semi-regular basis when I'm in SC. And I don't run w/ a rural crowd, either.

EDIT: To be fair, I hear the same when I'm in Georgia. And the most racist state I've been to is Tennessee. I'm rarely in Mississippi or Alabama, so I can't comment.
