To defend LSU in the 2013 game. Anyone mention A&M's offense didn't give us much to try to interfere with? Our offense ran up and down the field at will, the defense didn't need our help.

I would expect that game to be a bit quieter... -_-

it was? thats weird, because I distinctly remember it being on a Saturday. Having been there for the game, my memory is probably not as good as to which day the game was on, as yours.

So much jealousy on here over a&m easily being the best student section. Love it.

One, who cares about how a student section is ranked? Two, the only votes you are getting are your own.

seems like a lot of insecurity from A&M fans that they might not actually be the best

Texas A&M has the best homosexual football student section in the SEC by far.

Best Football Student Section in the SEC
just going to leave this here.

and this quote.

"It was so loud I couldn't even read the signals. My eyes were vibrating." - South Carolina's Bruce Ellington on playing at LSU.

As of late South Carolina as a team has a habit of getting opposing fans really riled up when we visit.

It used to be easily LSU. Their student section was so involved, so creative, and that energy infected the entire stadium. Now, eh, they're pretty meh and you see the effect on the entire stadium.

Now I'd say it's South Carolina unfortunately.

Texas A&M. 30,000 students standing and yelling every game, in the section that affects the game the most... right behind the opposing bench. I don't get how this is debatable.

It's debatable because you're manufacturing (through size) a "loud" student section nobody notices is that loud. Credit to A&M for giving tickets to so many students, and this may come to fruition with the stadium work, but I don't think it is that compelling as of last season.

I do like TAMU's dedication to students, the idea that the school is for the students is in line with how I feel we should direct our priorities.

No, we know we are the best. The only reason anyone disagrees is ignorance. The only student sections that come close are out of the SEC (like Nebraska).

He is saying that "yes, Texas A&M has the best and loudest student section, but that's not fair because y'all provide your students with the best seats" or something. I think he is conceding that A&M has the best student section in the nation.

I was there when LSU played A&M in 2012. The stadium was not very loud at all. I thought it was just average compared to the rest of the SEC. Maybe that will change after their expansion.

Sure it does. I'm saying you prioritize students and have a large student section. I think that is cool. But, I don't think it is that noticeable in terms of intimidation or impacting the game, and thus, I don't think A&M is the answer to this question, at least if that's what we're looking at.

A&M has far more structure to its student section, I think anyway, so maybe you'd win some sort of title for being best organized.
