I've only seen the 3 quarters against us last year and i won't base an opinion on that game as it was homecoming and were undefeated at the time.

I know he isnt very mobile but what does he bring to the table that makes you think he can do close to what Shaw did

This is not meant as shite talking or a troll, i just honestly would like to know

I'll tell you what Greg McElroy thinks...he thinks them losing the bald headed guy is one of the biggest losses in the SEC this year. That's what I can't tell you about Dylan because I don't know much about the young man...is he a good kicker/tackler/thrower/catcher?

Spourrier said he doesn't run as much as Shaw, but on occasion he CAN pull it down and run. He indicated they (The coaches) would probably encourage him NOT to run much because of a lack of depth at QB. Now,....that is what Spurrier said yesterday. He also seemed to have pretty good confidence in Thompson, which is saying something.

He can move, but not nearly as well as Shaw, and it has to be set up i.e. QB draws and keepers on the zone read. Hes not gonna pick up a busted play with his feet like Shaw would.

His best attribute is getting the ball out quickly. He takes his steps and lets the ball go, which is what Spurrier wants in his QB.

He needs to work on taking better care of the football though and his deep passes can hang in the air too long at times

He's got bad decision making at times and he had his fair share of bad plays last year.

Good potential though, eager to learn and lead and looked damn good in 2012. Beat Clemson up @ Clemson. Threw the game winning catch vs Michigan and he was thrown out there willy nilly.

He will be good, but he will make some mistakes.

He's a pocket passer, not the runner Shaw was but not many QBs are. He will tuck occasionally, but because of depth you're not gonna see it that often. Good arm strength. Struggles some with accuracy, but hopefully that's improved. Very humble and eager to learn. Apparently way more of a vocal leader than Shaw was, which is good to hear for when this team gets tested, and they will be tested. A lot. We have lots of receivers and a well stocked backfield, with a veteran OLine. Don't expect the same offense from last year. I'm predicting a 60:40 pass happy scheme... but that number will vary depending on Thompson's accuracy early on. If he's inaccurate, expect more balance and lots of run. If he's on target, expect the Fun N Gun.

LOVES JESUS...... Like, a lot.

Went to Israel with a fellow OLineman... I'm assuming they were spreading the gospel.

To be honest with you, I'm equal parts excited for this year and absolutely terrified for this year..
