I've always been somewhat of a Bobby Bowden fan.
But, he flat pussed out on this back in the day.
He knew they'd get lost in the shuffle if they joined tSEC, even back then.

One of his reasons for being a puss about joining the SEC, is that he didn't want to play Bama and Auburn in the same year. Take a look at the current ACC, schools are hundreds of miles from each other. Travel wise, this is why I wish that the SEC would have never added Missouri. Missouri is a Midwestern school that has no ties to the South. TBH, the same can be said about Kentucky.
