Wondering what people thought of the launch of the SEC Network and what you think this will mean to programs inside and outside the SEC.

I thought it was cool the first campus they went to was UF. Looked like every school got 3 on campus segments. 1 was for football and it seems as if the universities got to picks what the other 2 segments were. Kinda ironic UF had 2 segments on football and 1 on the womens gymnastics. I thought UF out of anybody was gonna try to showcase the "other" sports. I am pretty proud we chose to do the 2 on football. Really surprised me.

Saw bits of it today, wasn't bad. Do want to see more, though, before making complete assessment

I am just glad Direct TV finally picked it up. Some interesting documentaries supposedly in the works for each school.

Heres a simple test for someone with time: count how many times the name Saban is said in 24 hrs on SECN and then count the total of all other coaches....during the course of those 24 hr periods (not counting re broadcasts of past games) the name Saban will be 25 X the amount of the closet coach. It has been run into the ground.

I will actually keep a tally of this the next time SEC Now comes on. I will post the results at the end of the show.

The same thing happened when UF had Meyer.

I think the SECN overdid it the first day and after hearing from a lot of fans (not just UF fans)....quality control put the headphones on and decided to tone it down? I sure hope so.
I watched the SECN segment with Tebow and Spears in the studio and Spears obviously had time to adjust and relax...he did much much better and so did Tebow...although the banter between Tebow, Spears and Joe Tessitore gets jumbled together and Paul Feinbuam cant get a word in.
