they don't have an offense, I think it's fair to assume that LSU finishes 3rd or 4th in the West.

Why is it so hard for LSU fans to understand that we lost a 3K yard passer, a 1K yard rusher, and 2 1K yard receivers? All of these are being replaced with talent, but you can't help but to see the question marks.
We've yet to identify a starting QB. Of all our potential starting QBs, they accumulate a grand total of 1 start in CFB. That 1 start wasn't the best performance in the world either, certainly could have been worse.

LSU will be fine, but it's certainly understandable why the media isn't quite to fast to crown them SEC contenders yet. The young guys have a lot of work to do and they are capable. They will get the recognition they deserve when the time comes.

i don't think it's fair to assume anything, especially this year, where there is probably more parity than ever before in the west. It's fair to predict LSU could possibly finish that low, but it's pretty ignorant to assume that is what will happen.

I agree with you that our offense may not be great, but neither were they from 2008-2012. I also think many people in here think inexperience automatically means bad. The freshman we have coming into our offense are the best LSU has ever had on offense, hands down. They may struggle, especially early in the year, but the schedule sets up well for them to gain experience early in the year against very beatable teams. They also may thrive as many young guys have in the recent past.
