The fact that you follow recruiting on the SECRB sort of takes away any moral authority from your post. You talk it, but you don't walk it, because here you are. I'm not saying you aren't absolutely right however.

It wasn't that hard to figure out.

What is Moses measurables expected to be when he enrolls at LSU? Like 6'5" 250 with a sub 4.4 or something?

What #1 recruit is that? A&M has the #1 recruit for 16.

Rivals - Nate Craig, #1 composite WR on 247.

You can't just make shite up. We all have the ability to look this stuff up.

Ok, look it up. 247 isn't the only service. Regardless, we all know Texas 5* usually don't pan out.

I saw somewhere where a doc said he was supposed to be 6'7. A Doctor also told me the same thing, I ended up at 6'5.

247's the standard though. The others are only for fans who want to brag about a #1 recruit.

I think y'all are overplaying ranking players at this age. I knew exactly where I ranked in the nation for my sport, event, and age. Undebatable, absolute rank. It wasn't that bad, I promise.

Composite is ALWAYS better than a single source. You know this.

Well alright then, that's fine. To each their own.

Sure, but really we're splitting hairs with the top 10 most of the time. Any recruit that garners #1 on any service, overall and composite position, will probably be a good one.

This board overplays player ranks at every age; I'm not sure why people are so concerned with LSU fans being excited about a seemingly once a decade type talent.

How many once in a decade type players are there? You guys said the same about LF last year.

247Sports has never named a No. 1 player this early in the process. Rarely is there a player worthy of that kind of status this early. But already, Moses has been given a 99 rating, a rating that would put him above all but six players in the 2015 class.
Read into what you will; I said seemingly. College recruiting forums aren't the place you should be hanging out if you don't want to see fans getting excited about their players.

I didn't mean I did not expect fans to be excited, it's expected. But recruiting services releasing rankings earlier and earlier is getting ridiculous. Sure the consumer demands them, but at some point you've got to consider saving your legitimacy as a scouting service.

Just like those threats LSU fans made to Jordan Jefferson were pretty serious as well. But keep on acting like Bama fans are the only ones.

ETA: For those who would like a link, here you go.

Well, that's good to know, because it would be pretty bizarre for someone to get bent out of shape about high school athletes getting evaluated and compared to other athletes.
