Not saying he won't be great. Just not ready to crown him Murray yet either

the hell are you talking about? Nobody on earth is crowning him the next murray. Everybody realizes if he's half as good as murray we should be grateful. There's no reason to doubt Mason either though. He threw for basically 300 yards a game the last 2, and if not for crappy support against Nebraska he's 2-0. He also led us down from 20-0 on the road in his first start. That's gutsy. And if you were questioning his talent..he didn't shatter state of GA passing records in HS by accident. Mason can play.

I feel like there is not a game we can't win and win big but I'm not quite ready to go shouting it from the roof tops.

Nobody is shouting anything from the rooftops (except firewind). I don't think hardly anyone expects us to go undefeated.

All I'm saying is that I don't think Clemson will be all that tough of a matchup. I'm 10 times more worried about SC the next game than I am Clemson.

I agree here totally. Were it not for the constant dropped balls (Receivers and Rain) and poor defensive (Secondary) play things would have been completely different.

Another point is he will have a healthy Gurley + three great options behind him this season. His receivers will be back and healthy but would it matter if they were out? IDK...The other receivers were able to get valuable playing time so we will be deep at receiver. So I don't want to come off as a negative person because I am aware of the weapons he will have around him.

My only questions were, will the Oline gel and will he improve his release time? And those questions were present because they will have pretty much the same front seven including Beasley who will all be coming after him trying to rattle him because they know our secondary is unproven.

Defensively I think our front seven, and I've said this before, will be one of the best in college football. Our secondary I think will be a question mark. All indications point to a marked improvement due to experience especially if Swann returns to his 2012 form or better and it won't hurt that we have CJP who has from what I've read everywhere simplified the scheme for our guys. Which leads me to my next thread post.

The big but to that is that there is a huge difference between high school and college...
