I addressed some of this in my last post. I'm not entirely sure the engine you hear being gunned is Tony's car and his speed never really seems to change much. I'm not sure he gunned the gas at all.

The video and audio clearly show he gunned it. You can also hear the car that swerved come off the gas when he swerves.

This is morbid, but I also think the autopsy will show Stewarts tire was accelerating when the victim went under the car. I believe that is why the body in the video is twisted and mangled the way it was as well.

Without the acceleration the car would have rolled over him and not spit him out like a rag doll, right?

Tragic.

I have yet to watch the vid.

How would it compare to the nick berg video?

That is just it, you can't say for sure that is his car you hear because the camera is on the other side of the track. As for the video the camera is too unsteady, and is focusing on Ward, to say for sure whether Tony accelerated or not. It looks to me like he had a steady speed until contact.

If an autopsy could show that for sure, and I'm not doubting it can, then it would change things for sure. I'd guess something like that is why they haven't said anything for sure regarding charges yet.

He was probably doing 40-50 mph anyway. At that speed in an open-wheel car, you're probably getting thrown around like that whether they're accelerating or not.

If Sprint Cars had fenders, it would have appeared to have just rolled over him, yes. I would guess that it really would have thrown him like the Sprint Car, but he would have just been thrown into the fender and slammed back to the ground.

Definitely.
