Agreed.

Some of those cats are pretty decent, TBird in particular is the kinda guy you share a beer with.

However, there are some seriously arrogant shits- lot of Texas-sized bravado for absolutely no reason.

That said, there's been some pretty enjoyable banter back and forth. I wonder if many of them will stick around if USC does what it ought to and lays waste to 'me in a few weeks.

Seems to be more than a few SECr members who are hoping we mudhole them.

I hope we do.

We're usually not that good in the first game - maybe this will be the year we send a message, I dunno.

I'm glad we open with them here, I'm glad we appear to hold advantages in the trenches. I'm glad their QB is going to be young and inexperienced. I'm glad we're recruiting so well in the secondary as to perhaps have that advantage over them for coming years.

yep

A/M is a school that for 41 seasons (1948-1988) and 9 coaches - including Bryant/Stallings/Sherrill - posted an overall record of 211-215-15.

Slocum was the most successful coach in their modern history and they ran him off after 14 seasons in 2002. he did manage to get them put on probation for 5 seasons (94-98) too.

A/M is 78-60 post-RC.

37-76-5 vs Texas
26-41-3 vs Arkansas
1-0 vs Texas School for the Deaf (seriously)
