Well, beginning this year, the Outback, Liberty, Music City, Taxslayer, Belk and Texas bowls are essentially on the same level. All will pay $3 million and feature another Big 5 conference team.
Going to take some getting used to.
SEC teams are going to be either playoff material, group of 5 material (Orange, Peach or Cotton when they aren't a playoff bowl), Cap One, this group of mid level bowls, or Birmingham Bowl.
In a year that the SEC doesn't get a playoff team or doesn't have a high level second place team, the third place SEC team could theoretically go to the Liberty Bowl.
Going to take some getting used to.

Baylor would be a good consolation prize if Oregon doesn't make the playoffs. The SECr will hate every minute of it.

No, I'm not one of those fans that meltdown over everything... To me it just seems like the talking heads just pencil Bama in and give no effort in maybe looking at all teams objectively ... And Don't get me wrong I would love to see LSU there, but I know that this certainly isn't the year .
