I know there is still a lot of time between now and then for new developments, but what is everyone feeling right now?
We're almost definitely going to juggle the QBs. Could hurt the offenses rhythm, but then again WVU was 108th in pass defense last year...and we have Amari Cooper.
They were 91st in rush defense...
99th in scoring defense...
And 102nd in Total Defense.
Well. Ok yeah the offense is gonna roll.
I'll say Bama takes it 42-14.

31-10. Sloppy first half by the offense. Pull away in the second half.

I can't predict a Bama win yet. I predicted us to rape OU...

UA sputters in the first half. I get drunk.
UA comes out in the second and stomps a mud hole in their arse. I get more drunk.
Just my thoughts.

36-20 BAMA
Close and ugly 1st half. 2nd Half things will open up. WVU will attack our corner backs the entire game. We will win based on controlling the clock and rushing.

I completely agree with the people predicting an ugly first half, especially if they still haven't settled on a QB and Coker and Sims are taking turns.

I watched one WVU game last year and I was amazed at how small their defense was. Unless they had a bunch of bigger reserves, or signed a bunch of bigger freshmen, I can't see that defense stopping our run game for 4 quarters.
Have read their offense should be slightly improved over last season, so they'll be a bit of a challenge especially for the younger guys.
I also see sort of a sluggish first half, but we eventually wear them down and win going away, 36-13.

35-14 bama.
Passing stats will be meh while the Run game goes off.
Defensively we keep them contained for the most part and make some good stops. I expect us to give up a few big plays but we generally keep teams from putting up a lot of points. The most I remember for an opening game was 24 vs VT back in 2009.

24-10 Bama. New OL, untested secondary, new QB. Might be tight for awhile.

I think it really depends on how quickly our offensive line gels and how our running backs have developed. If our running game is dominating it will minimize first game jitters for whatever QB starts, and therefore mistakes like picks. Clock will run quickly.... put me down for a 35-3 type game. Most of our scoring will come late in the game from trying lots of different looks for our rb's and experimenting if we clearly establish dominance on the lines.
