The ideas are not ridiculous.

Texas is bigger than Louisiana, more nationally prominent, and has more money. That's factual.

TAMU is bigger than LSU, more nationally respected, and has more money. That's factual.

LSU has gone about as far as it can with Louisiana. It's amazing really. But expecting this to continue is just asking a lot, especially when confronted with a new and powerful rival.

Are we not talking about athletic programs here? If we are saying aTm is more respected is a joke.

perhaps you should have thought of that before you made the subjective claim that a&m will "overtake" lsu. a claim that you can neither substantiate nor seems to be happening in reality
