AU had nearly 400 yards of offense the last three quarters...doesnt sound like LSU was in complete control to me.
It was our first road game and Nick was still learning the system. They had 2 long runs and a short field to work with...recipe for disaster.
You cannot play like crap in DV and expect to compete.

Wasting clock and chasing a 3 score lead. most of the time.
Y'all still thought nick should throw the ball 33 times a game.

We are bend but don't break. We'll spot you the yards, but not the points. We also had lost our entire defense line, our MLB, and our #3 DE to the NFL. The 2012 defense would have never let y'all sniff 20 points. Also we played like the game was over by halftime. Y'all weren't even a challenge after two quarters.

Valid points but to be clear, LSU did not play their best game of the season that night. As you mentioned the D was sporadic, turnovers, etc. Auburn and LSU were nearly even, talent-wise, as far as I'm concerned, aside from LSU's two starting wide-outs. Either team could have won. The fact is, LSU's defense was much better at season's end than it was that week.
