Turns out, the university press is no longer publishing the book, and why is a mystery. Charles Backus, press director, referred any questions to the university provost office. The provost spokesman, Chad Wootton, is out of the country and was unavailable for immediate comment on Tuesday.

It's a VERY simple answer. Politics.

Jim Abbott, the likely new Governor of Texas, is a t-sip, as is that count Wendy Davis should the unthinkable happen and "abortion barbie" wins the election.

The board of regents are trying to ensure that anything with their names in it regarding Loftin's book is not officially endorsed by the school.

Well then, the University of Missouri Press should publish it.

Missouri has as many reasons to see the truth gets told as Aggie does. Plus, Loftin is one of ours now.

Let freedom ring!
