It's hard for me to believe how ignorant Oklahoma is being. What on earth ties them so tightly to Texas that they're willing to commit suicide with the Longhorns? Unbelievable.

I work with a big time OU fan. We have gotten into this conversation about the TLN and how Texas will be the downfall of the Big 12. This guy pretty much said "I'm not too worried about the future of the Big 12 and what Texas is doing. If we keep kicking their asses and we keep making big bowl games and get into the playoff and keep moving forward, OU will be just fine".

I guess that is a decent way of looking at it from a fan perspective (were you have no control anyway) although being very short-sighted. I dont think they realize how all the money the are missing out on a conference network is going to screw them in the long run. For instance with all the money the SEC schools are going to be getting from the SEC Network. Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Kentucky might have better training/football facilities then OU in about 15-20 years. OU and Okie State should leave for the PAC 12 ASAP imo and let Texas suffer from their own stupidity.
