I think if Vegas REALLY wanted one, they could pull it off - there's enough money rolling through that town to pull it off (though I think something permanently indoor, like an NBA franchise, would be best).

Austin has no prayer regardless.

Isn't there a rule that sports betting is illegal in cities where professional teams reside? I thought that's why Vegas hasn't gotten a team yet.

I think the fact that they have legal sport books scares most major league teams from touching Vegas.

Austin is just weird.
