What a shame. I've really enjoyed my time in Austin. Honestly, from the friends I've made here, there's just little to no school spirit. they're all pro sports first. Hell, they didn't even really know they had that much tradition in baseball until they made their surprising omaha run. slightly arrogant in general, but nothing unbearable

Austin is the largest US city without a major pro sports franchise. A lot of them honestly treat the schools football and basketball teams like a pro sports team. It's just very different. I do like Austin though

yeah, it's just evident the three-headed mediocrity monster that is Mack, Rick, and Auggie have sucked the life out of their student body.

they are really optimistic about their basketball team, though wary of how overrated rick barnes is

Just a point of order here. The Las Vegas Metro is almost 2 million people without a pro sports franchise. That's a little less than twice as large as Austin.

So frick them, there's no reason for them to act like the assholes they do.

Carry on.
