CNS is probably the 2nd greatest CF coach ever behind Bear Bryant.
I don't think he'll ever be endeared like Bryant, not because of this game or that decision.
But because he never came out and said "this one is on me..not the kickers or special teams..I should have waited for OT and given us a chance then".
If he said this and I missed it..apologies.
Just my opinion.

Dude, this is the guy that blamed his players for being distracted for the bowl game last year when the entire interim between the end of the season and the bowl game consisted of his agent whoring him out to Texas to get more money out of Bama. Gee, can't imagine why the Bama players might have been distracted. Can you?
