It's gotta be #1.

The most heated rivalry in sport, the winner advances to Atlanta, Bama gunning for an unprecedented threepeat, the craziness of the fourth quarter, and, then, the play itself.

It is the greatest college football game of all time.

Bama vs UGA SECCG is right up there.

Auburn still had to beat mizzou. Bama vs Georgia was a true defacto playoff.

Nope. That goes to USC vs. Texas 2006. Two Heisman winners on one team and I believe a 30+ game win streak going for USC. The Heisman runner up in Vince Young is the QB for the longhorns. BOTH TEAMS are undefeated. The rose bowl. It was high scoring. A national championship and a repeat was also on the line.

It doesn't get any better than that game. But Iron Bowl 2013 is probably 2nd.

Not so fast.

IB was #4 vs #1. 2012 SECCG was #2 vs #3.
IB was for a trip to the SECCG. 2012 was for a trip to the National Title Game.
Both games were pretty much dead even throughout the game.
SECCG had a classic ending in its own right.

I really don't think you can say that it is, literally, the best college football game of all time.
