We made a valiant effort at a come back but came up short in the Sugar Bowl against WVU

Yeah we have. Maravich went off and scored 50 on us.
Actually, against Tony Dorsett and Pitt in the Sugar Bowl in 1977, which would be the last time we trailed by 21 in LA.
