When you lose your soul like Saban and Bama have, you start having down years. Success, corruption take hold. Then the program gradually declines as people realize Saban is losing the razor's edge. And he just holds on until it's pathetic like Bobby Bowden.

Bowden was still playing for championships into his 70s. I can live with Saban doing that, even if he hangs on too long.
