“A lot of people see my highlight tape and they’re like, ‘Wow, how’s he doing this?’” McKenzie said this past summer. “I just show them that I can be that receiver that you can go to when you need him or that receiver that catches a pass and takes it 80 yards. Even though I’m not 6-foot or 6-5, I can do the same thing they’re doing. I just have to prove that to people and to myself that I can do anything a 6-foot receiver can do, and that’s not only special teams.”
