Always always always have a manual transmission.
It defines you as a man.
Started out with a 1970's Camaro; then a 280z.
Temporarily drove an automatic Mazda 626 but had to because lived in a big city traffic and commuted.
Finally moved and have had a c5 vette, an RX8, a Mini Cooper S, a Porsche boxster, an Acura TL, and a jeep CJ all of which were manual transmissions. I do not keep cars more than 18 months.
Mixed in all that have been assorted dirt bikes and street bikes.
Love the clutch and cant imagine doing without it.

Once I got my permit I was put behind some old 4 speed Toyota and learned to drive and stick shift at the same time, terribly frustrating.
Currently a 5 speed 89 jeep wrangler, things a beauty

My wife can drive a manual, too!

I can drive a stick, but I can afford to not drive a stick.

I learned on a '46 Willys Jeep. I wouldn't choose to drive a manual now, but could if I needed to.

Every car I've ever owned except one has been a stick and I'm 65. My wife's last three cars have been a stick. My only child's car is a stick. About to order a new BMW M3 with, you guessed it, a stick.

Learned on a 89 wrangler in a cemetery. Tough to learn to drive and drive stick at the same time but I'm damn glad I did.
Still driving my wrangler when I'm at my parents but otherwise don't have a car in the city.
Fastest I drove was my cousins '93 Rx-7 with about 550hp.

Had one of these, maybe the funnest car I ever owned.

Up until last year, I have owned a Mustang Cobra of some sort for the last decade and a half, and they don't come in Automatic.

I feel the same way. It's also like riding a bike, you never forget how to drive one.

I no longer drive a stick, but I did for a long time.
I learned to drive one in a 96 Ford Explorer out of all things. I had a 97 Ranger a few years ago that was manual. Loved that truck, just needed something bigger.
I actually prefer manual, but if I got another it would have to be my secondary vehicle. My wife can't or won't give me the chance to teach her how to drive one. lol

I learned to drive on a manual 1976 Toyota, and currently drive a 2006 Porsche Boxter, I've also owned two Honda Civics, several Mazda RX-7s, a Mini Cooper, an Audi A3 and an A4...all of which were manuals.

Ought to be in the man manual that you have to be able to drive a stick.

I learned on a early 90s escort wagon.
I currently drive a Mazda3 with 6 spd MTX.

My Wrangler was a stick. It was fun to drive except on highways.

If it's a sports car it's gotta be a stick shift

2006 Accord V6 6MT sedan here. They only made the 4 door 6MT in 2006/7. Took me a while to find one but it has been well worth it. I've only seen 5 or so other ones in the many years I've had it.
