Then why sticky the threads? It looks retarded to have more than a third of the board's front page be stickied threads.

You mean the current recruiting thread? If the thread is active, then it will be bumped to the top when it is posted in.

The only threads that should be stickied are the current 2015 football, baseball, and basketball recruiting threads.

Everything else should be taken down.

"Looks retarded" to who? Why are you so caught up in how pretty our board looks? Who gives a shite if you have to click over one whole page to check that topic that was brought last week?

Every single one of the stickies has a post in it from the last three days. The last post on page two is from the middle of last week. I don't think it's causing that much of an issue.

Stickies are for handy threads that you want to come back to often, IMO. Every one of those stickies meets that criteria. And when they run their course (the UGA thread when the season starts for instance) they are gone. It's not that big of a deal.
