Would Florida be open to starting an OOC series against Auburn?

Is there even a mechanism to make this happen?

We rarely see one of our biggest rivals anymore.

This is why I want 10 SEC games. With a 6-2-2, you would see everyone h&h within like 4 years. Plus it allows If and AU to play every year.

The sec schedule is a steaming pile of shite. You should be allowed to schedule Florida ooc if you want.

We need a 3-5.

No divisions. Three permanents so we keep rivalries, and then 5 rotating opponents each year. In four years everyone has played everyone home and away, and we get to keep our rivalries. There is no downside other than a potential rematch one week later in the SECCG, but that's hardly a downside as it'd probably be a good game.

I'd rather we start playing Miami again.

No. That question was raised when the schedule rotation was announced. SEC has said it will not allow member teams to play each other as an OOC game in football.

Sure. Then we'll add Miami back on the schedule and get OSU to play us every year.

OOC for UF:

Auburn
FSU
Miami
OSU

I think the SECR would finally be happy with our scheduling.

Excellent idea! Im all for it. Ive always liked playing the gators -- my first one was Sully/Beasley VS Reaves/Alvarez in 1969. Great win in Auburn.
Lets do it!

I mean, as a Florida fan, if I just want to enjoy watching good football and not worry about trophies, I'd like Auburn and Miami on the schedule very year...

but if that were the case, check out Florida's average annual schedule:

CUCAKE
Miami
Kentucky
ROTATING WEST
Tennessee
LSU
Missouri
Georgia
Vanderbilt
South Carolina
Auburn
Florida State

THAT IS frickING BRUTAL. Florida would never win another national title. But the games each week would be very entertaining.
