If Bama goes out and kicks the shite out of USC, that is going to get major national exposure

What does a neutral site game do for national exposure? I get it if they were crappy teams, but a game like USC/Bama is going to have the same national exposure either way.

Sure USC/Bama is going to be maybe the biggest game kicking off the 2016 season. You don't think kicking off the season with a win over USC helps get voters attentions? It is a marquee match-up.

My point was these neutral site games are going going to increase in importance in the play-off era and other less "marquee" names than Bama or USC or going to need to step-up and get into them to help them in the polling and selection process.

I think the thinking goes that a neutral site game at a big NFL stadium makes it more of a "television event". I like the home and home better.
