Insult a Southerner, and his testosterone and cortisol levels increase...he doesn't tolerate your insult.

That graph is accurate in my opinion.

LSS:

I went to NY with a bias against Yankees. Got into a heated discussion with a cabby while I was trying to get from the airport to the train.

He got a better fare and asked me to get out. I was almost sitting at the time.

I released all my bias with every 4, 5 and 6 letter word I could muster. It had zero affect on him. He just went about his work.

They are different up there and being rude to one another is not really being rude.

Down here, drop all those insults on someone and you now have a heated discussion, if not a fight, on your hands.

I was shocked.
