Over throwing vs underthrowing on deep routs. When AJ first arrived he tended to lead the WR's by too much on deep throws. Part of that was lauching from his back foot rather than driving the ball to the WR. Coach Mac taught him to slightly underthrow when the WR was more open so they could still adjust back to the ball. When the coverage was tighter was when he would make the WR chase the ball so if the WR could not get it then no one would. AJ was also better on passes outside the hash because when he drove the ball it was more likely to go out of bounds rather than find a safety in the deep middle.

That is a conservative coaching approach that Coker has not been taught. I guess we will have to see what Kiff teaches Coker.
