Davis was a little bit shiftier IMHO.
This guy has good moves and better speed plus he seems to run with some serious power.
I agree with that. Denson's top end speed is faster. But Davis was more polished when it comes to jukes. Denson cuts early at diagonals and tries to use his speed to blow past 1 arm tackles.

I really hope we get this kid today.
I've watched that film now a few times. He's on defense as a Spur time safety/backer the final couple of minutes. The kid is just a headhunter whether he is carrying the ball or defending. He's a football player.
When he is running with the ball what is really impressive is how he gets down low and takes on tacklers, how well he cuts at full speed and also how good his hands are .... but dang, notice his acceleration. He literally explodes when he sees an opening. It's what makes him such a devastating tackler as well. You can't coach that, that just comes instinctively. He absolutely explodes when he anticipates contact is coming and more often than not it leads to breaking tackles or hammering someone when he is on the other side of the ball.
I'm actually going to try to be around when he announces today. I really hope we get a solid commit from this kid.
