That wasn't a miracle. That was two walkons getting overpowered and Low Angle Lincoln kicking.

91 Tennessee at Notre Dame

Down 31-7 late in the second quarter, Notre Dame was driving down the field. They had to kick a field goal which was blocked and returned for a Tennessee TD. We went into the half 31-14.

The following half saw the greatest comeback in Tennessee history where we scored three touchdowns to Notre Dame's one field goal. Late in the 4th Notre Dame had the ball in field goal range again for a chip shot 25 ish yarder. Our guy actually OVERRAN the ball and the kick bounced off his butt and fell dead. With a final score of 35-34, Tennessee came back from 24 points in the hole to defeat Notre Dame in South Bend.

We call it the Miracle at South Bend.

I've noticed that just today actually

they don't even like being congratulated on miracles

guess I could post the definition of "Congratulations" from the dictionary, but they wouldn't like that either

I think they're mad at me for congratulating them on the miracles

Vols have had a lot of bad miracles go against them the last 10 years.

Last good one I can remember was the 1998 Stoerner fumble.

The game against us this past season. The kid fumbling the ball as he is reaching for the goal line....had to feel bad for him.

I honestly dont know if I consider the kick 6 a miracle. Auburn and Lsu both showed if you put a guy back there and the kick is short, it is actually pretty damn easy to score. Just because most coaches chose not to put the player back there, doesnt make it a miracle in my eyes. I would say there was a 90% chance that Bama kicker was going to be short, and another 90% chance that Auburn guy was going to be able to return it against a bunch of fatasses

He's still with the team after a shaky off season. From what I've heard he took it very badly and let his play on the field and school work drop off. Thankfully he managed to fix that in the spring and summer sessions and I'm looking forward to seeing Pig in the slot again this fall.

Props on being a classy Georgia fan.
