Ok I'll try again.
My argument is this:
Whether or not we beat you in the regular season doesn't matter at all anymore. 1/9 proved it. The playoff reinforces it.
So if LSU beats Alabama in October, who cares? See you in January.
If Alabama beats LSU in October on the other hand, we still have to navigate what is usually the hardest sec schedule.
Alabama is set up to be in every playoff moving forward if they can split the LSU auburn game.
LSU and auburn are far from that luxury.

Not once has LSU beat Bama but Bama went the the SECG over LSU due to the SECE rotation. It's never happened in the 22 years of the SECG.
