I have to kind-of admit there is a little gratification to be found in all of this.

The shite we took from UT fans, the shite from Fulmer, the recruiting arse-kickings in our own state during the Fat Bradstard Scott years ... UT is getting a little taste of it.

FWIW SCAR has never had six or seven losing seasons in a row ... and UT fans sure like to evoke our ancient past. Wonder why they are having so much trouble with their recent past and current history?

Honestly, and I've said this all before, it could be easily construed that Tennessee is suffering from some serious karma kickback at the moment. All the stuff Fulmer did to Bama, to SCAR and UGA on the recruiting trail ... the shite talk.

I'd be just as quick to blame Fulmer and Hamilton as I would Kiffin and Dooley. Kiffin and Dooley were the effect of the causality of Fulmer and Hamilton and even, to a lesser degree, Doug Dickey.

I'm sort of surprised, but then again I guess I'm not, that some of these players are giving Fulmer such a pass considering Fulmer's last few seasons at the helm. He got fat, let himself go, let the program go.

2013 - 5-7 Jones
2012 - 5-7 Dooley
2011 - 5-7 Dooley
2010 - 6-7 Dooley

2009 - 7-6 Kiffin
2008 - 5-7 Fulmer
2007 - 10-4 Fulmer
2006 - 9-4 Fulmer
2005 - 4-7 Fulmer

Three winning seasons in the past nine years.

It was February of 2005 when the Albert Means scandal finally came to a head and Bama was punished ... Fulmer won the battle but lost the war. He cursed Tennessee football and Tennessee football is now suffering the karma kickback.

Such is life.

I remember Fulmer was pissing all over Georgia's backyard for a period in the mid to late 90s, then Donnan got his arse back starting with the '99 recruiting campaign as he stole his targets and Garner.

Well as long as we are on the topic of current history, we are currently doing just fine in recruiting and we are also the team that prevented USC a chance to win their first ever SEC title.

Not bad for one of Tennessee's worst and most undermanned team ever to beat one of the best South Carolina squads ever assembled and to extend our all time series lead to 21-5.

But such is life.

Seriously do you realize how embarrassing it was for you guys to get beat by our sorry arse team last year? Really shows a lot about both programs when it comes to football.

Stop acting like you don't know that Spurrier and Fulmer both ratted on Bama. It's not a secret. Bama simply made hay about Fulmer because of TSIO.

But your coach was involved. And truth be told, I bet others were too.

You can write a page of this drivel about karma, Fulmer, blah blah. And even to bring Usce into the conversation is ridiculous.

It's simple. We had a piss poor AD in Hamilton. He made terrible hires.

We never won less than 5 in a season. 2005 5-7

Against Alabama...and granted, stats against only one opponent may not mean very much...but the Vols have averaged exactly one offensive touchdown per game for the last ten years. Four Vol head coaches...going back into the Shula era...and multiple coordinators on both sides. That's some pretty serious suckage.
