Running back Tavien Feaster of Spartanburg is a long-time Clemson commit. Spartanburg head coach Chris Miller knows Bentley well as the two have worked together before on the staff at Byrnes High. It has been all Tigers for Feaster from Day 1, but the Gamecocks will do their best to get in the game. Bentley went to Spartanburg today.

Class of 2017 wide receiver Shi Smith of Union County (S.C.) is believed to be getting a "check in" (you can't really visit with underclassmen) from Muschamp and company, too. The Gamecocks were one of the first schools to offer Smith, but he's currently an early lean to Clemson. Smith is coached by former South Carolina quarterback Steve Tanneyhill.
