I didn’t realize we were using a such small sample size (10 years). Seems convenient, but I’ll concede. UGA has rarely featured a WR. Interestingly enough, 3 of the top 5 career passing leaders played at UGA. Surely that means something?

also I can't name one other GA wideout other than AJ Green.

I was under the impression we were talking historically, so I was going to name a former SB MVP. However, I’ll cap it at 10 years to be fair to CIYE argument.

Also Ace Sanders and Bruce Ellington send there regards

If this is your argument, please accept my gratitude for solidifying my original point. Like I said, outside of Alshon, it’s almost impossible to name another big time receiver from SCAR.

Only fans typing posts on a msg board give a shite what happened 15-20+ yrs ago. Like Clemson fans still acting these days like they are perennial national championship-contenders based on one fluky season 30+ yrs ago when they actually got close enough to compete for one, and actually won it. Nevermind the fact that they never really got close to it beforehand, and never really got close to it since....

This is a recruiting thread - recruits could care less what happened back around the time they were born. The above link CIYE posted is relevant because the position coach that Davis would play for at USC was directly responsible for those stats. He's still at USC doing his regular thing....

There may be some credence to historical data, but I think the current position coach track record is an extremely important measurement, especially when using it as a selling point to current recruits.

Everybody has a great WR or so from the past 30 years, but these recruits want to know who's going to be developing them now and getting them ready to have an opportunity in the NFL.
