I don't think they will fire him. If that hit the big news stations that hospital would have a shite storm on its hands. However, he definatly broke policy so I could see him seeing some type of punishment internally.

Much better to be fired or punished some other way than being dead. I'm sure that's what the good doctor was thinking when he decided to break the policy.

Here's hoping there are many teachers and others working on "unarmed campuses (a.k.a. 'fish in a barrel')" who are breaking policy.
