Hospital might fire him though. They'd be within right, given that it's against policy. But it would possibly cause a public shitstorm for the hospital since he stopped more people from getting hurt or killed.

I don't think they will fire him. If that hit the big news stations that hospital would have a shite storm on its hands. However, he definatly broke policy so I could see him seeing some type of punishment internally.
