I don't think that Bear Bryant ditched his whole offensive philosophy and went to the Wishbone for the rest of his career just because he didn't have confidence in Terry Davis as a passer.

Bailey absolutely understood and did his job well without complaining. DJ Hall never would have put up with it and would have become even more of a malcontent. And that's primarily why I would take Bailey over Hall every time.
