He did win like his first 5 RRS games when they were all top 10 matchups and a play in for the Big 12 Championship.

he lost his first, won the next 5. He really had no business losing to Texas this past year, honestly have no idea how he managed that, not only losing but getting his arse kicked. If they had taken care of business like they should have, he'd be 10-5 against Texas all-time.

Bama played the Sugar Bowl with out a left tackle. Hard to win playing 10 against 11.

Ah yeah I always forget he started there in 99 not 2000. The Sugar Bowl win saved him a lot of heat in regards to that RRS game this last year. If Bama had blown the doors off them like they should have I think OU fans would be focusing on that loss a lot more.

Yeah I forgot they had that stretch in 2000 also. That team was really fricking good. Not a ton of NFL stars, Roy Williams is the only one that comes to mind off the top of my head, but a bunch of really really good college players like Rocky Calmus, JT Thatcher, Heupel, Quentin Griffin.

I think 2003 and 2004 really messed with him for awhile. Their regular season in 2003 was just a ridiculous offensive display and they also had the #1 ranked defense in the country in YPG. Then they got completely shut down offensively in 2 straight games by Kansas St and LSU. 2004 they coast through the regular season and get completely dismantled by USC in the BCSCG. That had to have been in Stoops head. Seems like he may be turning a corner now, though. That win over Alabama had to have really been a confidence booster, which is pretty evident in him going right back to talking shite about the SEC.

you'd think having the number 1 recruiting class every year that Alabama would have a backup at that position.

What you say is true. I was wondering the same thing. AJ had the crap beaten out of him. He was wondering the same.

OU played the Sugar Bowl without the starting LT, MLB, FB, & RB. Injuries happen, deal with it. C'mon, I expect better from a Bama fan.

Alabama is the last team that should cry about injuries given the depth they have at every position and how well they've recruited every single year. Literally the only position that should have hurt them last year would be if McCarron had gone out.

Big game bob had no bushess starting Blake Bell at QB for any games that Trevor Knight was healthy. Bell is big and tough, but he is not a thrower.

Saban looked like he was caught off guard with Trevor Knight playing so well. Simple as that

Back to topic. Boise state beat the Sooners in a BCS bowl on the Statue of Liberty play
