Welcome to the area! I live in Blue Springs. The Kansas City Alumni chapter is pretty decent. They'll host a couple of watch parties at Power and Light, and the wife and I go whenever we can find a sitter.

Got here last Sunday and secured a job. Wife's family took me downtown KC for dinner and sightseeing. Saw quite a bit Mizzou shirts as I had a Hog hat on, couple of crooked smiles my way, but a great downtown atmosphere.
I will have to check out the Power and Light parties this season.
