It won't be much of an issue for Dungy, but Belichick would be crucified had he said it.

He's getting hammered in the media, and he's already caved and "clarified" his statement.
He's actually getting it worse, because he's black and people think he should empathize more with Sam because of it.

Belichick and the other 31 NFL coaches said it by Sam not being drafted until only a few picks remained.
Who want's that headache?
